Selecting Filters in POC Task Manager

In the Task Manager portal, several filters assist you with reviewing assignments. The Assignments for Review section refreshes based on the filters selected.

  1. Clinical: Care Management heading > Task Manager.

  2. Display Filters section > select filters:

    • Date Range – change to a future date up to 1 month in the future, but not a past date. The number of days can be set to any number between 1 and 7.

    • Shift – change to any POC shift used in your facility

    • Select Planning Metric – select your option.

    • Planned Time – Sum of the Planned Time for Tasks scheduled on given date for shift and assignment selected. Data only appears for this selection if the ‘Planned Time to Perform Task’ field is completed in tasks or interventions.

    • Tasks – Count of the number of Tasks scheduled to occur on given date for shift and assignment selected

    • Position - select from the list.

    • Include PRN in Total – If selected, the historical daily average of PRN data is added to the Totals in the Assignments for Review section.

    • If your facility does not use time tracking: Average PRN documented per day for # tasks (based on the past 7 days)

    • If your facility uses time tracking: Historical average of documented Tracked time for PRN's per day (based on the past 7 days)

    • Show tasks for – change to any position being used in your facility

    • Unscheduled Tasks in Total – If selected, the historical daily average of Unscheduled Tasks data is added to the Totals in the Assignments for Review section.

    • If your facility does not use time tracking: Average Unscheduled Tasks documented per day for # tasks (based on the past 7 days)

    • If your facility uses time tracking: Historical average of documented Tracked time for Unscheduled Tasks per day (based on the past 7 days)

  3. Click Search. The Assignments for Review section refreshes based on the selected filters.

  • Unscheduled Tasks in Total is only visible if Allow Users to Track Unscheduled Tasks is set to Yes in POC General Configuration.

  • If Interventions are set up for POC documentation, they are included in the totals.

  • Click Report to run the Intervention/Task Schedule Report, which generates based on the filters selected. You must have the Intervention/Task Schedule security item to see the option.
