Completing e-Signature Fields in a Generated Document

After you generate a document on the resident chart, you can complete the e-Signature fields and signatures. The fields are placed when the template is created and completed during the signing ceremony. Your document's fields could require a facility representative to complete and/or a resident or responsible party.

Note

You can edit layout before completing the fields to ensure the document's layout is accurate. 

Warning

All required fields must be completed to eliminate errors.

  1.  Admin > Resident Chart > Documents > Document Manager > Pending > e-Signature.

  2. Select Document.

  3. Select Complete.

  4. Enter signature fields as required.

  5. Click Save and Sign.

  6. Accept Esign Disclosures and Consent.

  • If multiple signers are required, switch signers by selecting the name in Now signing as field. 

    • If you switch signers, you see a confirmation to proceed to hand over the documents.

  • If a signer's signature is not required on a document, you see a message at the top of the page.

  • When there are multiple documents, Right and Left arrows guide you through the documents. 

  • To use e-Signature in Document Manager, e-Signature must be enabled in your facility.

  • API Key and authorization must be setup to use e-Signature in Document Manager.

  • You must allow third party cookies and site data to create electronic signature template and complete signing ceremony.

  • Each signer must accept the consent form prior to signing documents.
