Creating a Document Manager Packet

Document Manager Packets organize or group your document manager templates into defined packets. This allows you to group multiple documents into a package so all the documents in the package can be populated with resident-specific information and generated to the resident chart.

  1. Enter Name.

  2. Enter Description.

  3. Select Scope.

  4. Select Community Activations, if applicable.

  5. Click Templates.

  6. Select Category for Admin or Clinical Documents.

  7. Select the Documents to be included in the Packet.

  • Best Practices:

    • Build a Corporate scoped packet and include all documents in which your entire organization distributes to residents.

    • Build a Line Of Business scoped packet and include all documents in which your specific lines of business distributes to residents.

    • Build state-specific scoped packet and include all state required documents to distribute to residents.

    • Build Facility specific scoped packets for each facility to include facility specific documents to distribute to residents, such as price lists.

  • After building all your required packets, you can select multiple packets to apply and generate for a resident. For example, a resident can be assigned to the Corporate packet, the Line of Business packet, or the State packet that applies to the state they reside in and the facility packet they reside in. All included documents and forms can be generated for signatures for the resident and/or responsible party.

  • Scope and Facility Activations appear in packets created at the management console.

  • You cannot edit or delete a Corporate or Line of Business scoped Packet at the Facility Level. Edit and delete must be completed at the management console.

  • A packet requires at least one document template.

  • Packet ID, created by and revision by fields populate and appear after saving or revising the packet.

  • The templates you select for the packet can be placed in order you want to appear when completing the packet.
